To achieve our goals, we are constantly looking for housing.
Are you the owner of a property – house, collective housing, apartment – that you wish to make available to Ciguë? Do you know of an unoccupied housing unit that could potentially house people in training?

Do you own an unoccupied property?
Ciguë provides temporary housing for its members, either vacant or awaiting renovation, transformation, or demolition. To do this, it signs loan agreements for use or fixed-term leases (generally for a period of at least twelve months) with private or public owners, then subleases the properties to people in training. Ciguë becomes your sole point of contact, handles administrative and technical management, ensures rent payments, and commits to adhering to the agreed-upon deadlines.
Our experience in managing rental properties on temporary loan guarantees you a straightforward collaboration.
In this way, you allow people in training to be housed and contribute to a social cause. Students take care of your property and prevent it from being left vacant or deteriorating.

Want to help by finding vacant properties?
The “Vacant House Detection” committee organizes self-training sessions on online tools related to urban planning and collective house detection by neighborhood. Once equipped with these tools, you’ll be able to find vacant properties, gather initial information about them, and share it with the co-responsible persons for external relations who will contact the owners (externes[at]cigue.ch).
If the outcome is favorable, the housing will be offered for allocation based on the committee’s criteria (urgency and specific needs, cohesive collective project, participation in Ciguë, participation in vacant house detection).
