The members of our cooperative come from all horizons, and speak a diversity of language. Amongst the most frequent are French, English, Spanish and German.
Currently, the focus of the translation committee is on translating our documents into English, as the majority of our members speak either French or English (or both). The Ciguë website translation has been largely completed, but most of our documentation exists only in French. These include (but are not limited to):
- The statutes of the Ciguë
- The Regulations of the Ciguë
- The ecological charter of the Ciguë
- Documentation from a variety of committees, etc.
We are therefore looking for volunteer members of the cooperative with the relevant competencies (ideally students in translation or with professional experience translating) to help us tranlsate these documents into English.
We are also looking for volunteers members of the cooperative to translate, 3 to 4 times per year, the minutes of the General Assembly into the following languages, thus allowing members of the cooperative whose native language is not French to participate fully in the cooperative:
- Spanish, and
