Montbrillant

The product of a European competition for young architects and the Ciguë’s first building, Montbrillant was constructed in 1998 through a right of use contract with the landowner, the City of Geneva. Lying at the heart of l’Îlot 13, a vibrant working class neighbourhood near the train station, this wooden building has two wings connected by a walkway on the 1st floor. Montbrillant won the Interasser prize in 1999.
